The Nike ZoomX Vomero 17 has done away with the forefoot Zoom Air unit of previous models, but you needn't feel that you're losing out on the responsive pop of energy it gave, a simplified midsole now includes Nikes lightest and most responsive foam, ZoomX as a top layer, with a base layer of soft Cushlon foam for a springy, energised, yet smooth ride. The premium feel of comfort isn't just underfoot, with an engineered mesh upper that is lighter and more breathable than before, and a soft collar, padded tongue, and soft stretchy laces all cradling your foot in a plush, comfortable hold.
