The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% is here. Dominating proceedings with its high stack height, the revolutionary running shoe sees Nike utilise lightweight, responsive ZoomX foam in tandem with dual Zoom Air pods for optimal energy return. A full-length carbon fibre plate gives a snappy sensation to every step and adds to the propulsive feel throughout your stride. The new AtomKnit upper, meanwhile, was developed after feedback from elite athletes said they wanted a shoe that stayed light in the wet. The next generation of FlyKnit, AtomKnit absorbs less water, and gives a contoured, lightweight feel with enhanced breathability. The eye-catching outsole was developed using data from hundreds of athletes and provides different angles of traction placed where you need it. The result is traction and improved comfort from toe off and through every part of your stride. Inspired by one of Japans biggest races of the year the Hakone Ekiden Edition features a topographical map on the swoosh in a nod to the steep course around Mt Fuji.
